Movies in which the woman dies and thereby helps the hero to realize his full potential in the world, only of course, bad luck for her because she's dead. Example: Moulin Rouge.

Also, movies in which the heroine is a prostitute and the hero is not, and it seems kind of like being a prostitute might be a good way to get a supercute guy such as young Richard Gere or Ewan Macgregor. Examples: Moulin Rouge, Pretty Woman.
