As you all now must know by now, Judy Blundell won the National Book Award in young people's literature for What I Saw and How I Lied -- which is a seriously excellent book. The honor is well-deserved.
Of course, I was sad not to win myself, but the two days of NBA events were really wonderful and I will give a full report soon. Including a photo of my gold shoes!
Today, though, I am traveling to San Antonio for NCTE/ALAN -- and I have a
big schedule of signings tomorrow -- so actual blogging will probably have to wait until Sunday.
